At Bridget's STEM Tutoring we aim to personalise every session to meet the needs of our students, and focus on areas in which the student has the potential to improve. Each session is flexible and designed to work with the student to not only complete their daily tasks, but guide them from novice to professional. We do that in the most effective way possible—mastering the subject area and building lifelong, professional confidence.

Bridget has been teaching since 2010 in a variety of settings. She is a qualified physics teacher and a GCSE and A-Level physics examiner. Her approach prioritises understanding of content through methods that is tailored to the individual student. Using the student’s voice to determine things that work well for them, tailoring teaching approaches and creating a bank of resources for use has seen an increase in engagement from my students. She has studied and practiced positive coaching as an approach to both skill and content learning which has given her a unique perspective and approach to teaching. She has found ways to bring this into the secondary classroom using Socratic methods, finding that this gives students the confidence to ask questions, explore ideas, and allows them to truly learn. By allowing them to build on what they know, all students are given the confidence to learn.
